The Year of Writing Magically just got a glow up

And it looks gooooooooooood!

Look; I’m a tinkerer.

Whenever I work on something, I constantly tinker, trying to make it that much better, that much more effective. I’ve been adjusting my same basic toe-up sock knitting pattern since the first pair I ever made. I have no two pairs that are exactly the same. I love the original pattern, it’s still good, but I just endlessly… tinker.

I’m doing the same with the Year of Writing Magically, and y’all… it’s good.

The full Year experience at a lower price

Originally, I really wanted a small, intimate cohort, and in order to make it worth me doing, I had to price it at a premium.

What I learned is that the cohort can be larger and still be small enough to provide the intimate level of community that I’m looking for. Between that and the module system, which will hopefully be appealing to people who wanted to do it but didn’t feel they could do it all, I can now offer the full Year experience for just $900.

A la carte modules

I’m not going to lie, this new module system was inspired by the fact that four people came back for a second year last year, and I felt kind of bad about it.

The experience is awesome, but coming back every year when you’ve already learned a lot of the stuff just to hang out and get the experience again felt like a lot. Plus, I got really attached to the people in my cohorts and I missed them when they were gone but how could I expect them to come back? Not everyone has that kind of money every year.

In addition, some people may not be ready to write their novel, but they want to do the Discovery process. The old YOWM model left them out.

Someone else might be ready to revise a book already in progress, and they want to get that done before diving into anything new. The old YOWM model left them out.

This new model has something to offer literally everyone.

But my favorite part is that the Drafting module is only $50, and for that, you get daily tarot cards and inspiration from me, an intimate cohort to work alongside, and the energetic burst of writing in community.
