Hey, Runners!
I want to start today with a heads-up about what’s coming this week, because it’s a doozy.
First, we’re going to talk about switching our mindset from managing time to managing energy. That’s today.
Second, we’re going to work on unlearning some of the things we believe are true about writing in general, and our writing in particular, that are not actually true.
That’s Wednesday.
Then, on Friday… well, on Friday, we’re going to look our fears in the face and stare them down for a bit.

Then, you’re gonna fall back into the same old mindset traps a few times, until finally you’re able to recognize them before you fall through.
Journaling regularly about how you feel about your writing—not about the writing, not about the story, not about the plot points—is the key to doing the mindset work you need to do to unlock your magic.
Let’s start with something relatively easy; time vs. energy.
