As we’re getting into our Discovery work, I want you to keep one thing always at the top of mind.
Your job during Discovery is not just to start working on a new story; it’s to start working on your bespoke process.
That means building a process tailored to you and how you write. But here’s the thing; sometimes things that used to work for you before won’t work for you now. That’s fine. Sometimes things that work while you’re writing this book won’t work when you’re writing future books; that is also fine.

We’re going to start today by talking about the most banal of writer process categories: the pantser/plotter spectrum.
First detail of note; I called it a spectrum, and that’s exactly what it is. Where you land is where you land, and most of us are somewhere in between—the Plantser.
